Pike flag raised over Yosemite -
On the night of September 20, 2008, a group of Pikes from Kappa Nu Chapter (University of
the Pacific) left for Yosemite National Park and started hiking from the base of Half Dome
at midnight. Using the full moon for light, the entire group successfully reached the
summit just in time to watch the sunrise. The mile of vertical climb from the base to
summit left the entire group exhausted but full of great stories. From left: Kevin Heidorn
