The Eta Omicron Alumni Association, along with the Eta Omicron Chapter, will celebrate its 37th anniversary on April 25-26, 2009. The class of 1984 will receive their 25 year certificates, the class of 1994 will celebrate Pike 15, and the Founding Fathers will celebrate Pike 25. The 2008-2009 annual donation request drive is currently underway, with a goal of $20,000 in support of the chapter at ULM. The Theta Zeta Alumni Association golf outing was held on Septemter 27, 2008, at the Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Following the golf outing the group enjoyed a catered barbecue dinner at the chapter house. The funds raised during this event went toward housing and scholarships. The association appreciates all those who attended and sponsored the event.
The Theta Upsilon alumni and housing board, along with members of the active chapter, celebrated the 20th anniversary of their annual Firemen’s Ball event this past fall. The Silver Initiate brothers were recognized, and everyone had a good time together.

IOTA MU ALUMNI ASSOCIATON Over 50 Iota Mu alumni and guests attended a reunion at SIU’s Homecoming on October 11, 2008, in Carbondale, Illinois. The brothers celebrated the 20th anniversary of their colonization.
The Kappa Mu alumni at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, would like to congratulate the active chapter on a successful move to a new chapter house and for hosting a successful Homecoming celebration. Twenty-five alumni members were in attendance for the grand tour before watching their Laurier Golden Hawks win over the Windsor Lancers in a 33-18 victory.
The first meeting of the Kappa Tau Alumni Association was held on September 20, 2008 in South Portland, with 16 alumni in attendance. During the meeting a vote was held to elect executive positions, appoint regional vice presidents in charge of the multiple regions brothers have spread to since graduation, and established some long and short term goals based on annual dues. Some of the goals included setting up a scholarship fund, identifying necessary housing improvements, hosting an annual alumni event and establishing a tax ID and non-profit status. A second meeting was held on October 25, 2008, with a goal of a larger alumni attendance and to check the status of individual assignments. The Kappa Omega Alumni Association held its annual alumni golf outing in August 2008, with 40 alumni participating. At a gathering after the day of golf, the housing committee gave a presentation on its current state, updated the group on fundraising efforts and the Work Day accomplishments. At the annual meeting, held the same weekend, the group elected new association officers and discussed new business. It was announced that the annual Pike Bowl football game will be held on February 21, 2009, at Starin Park.
The Lambda Zeta Alumni Association held its annual meeting and elections on October 4, 2008. The alumni board stayed almost completely intact with only one position turning over. This fall, the annual alumni vs. undergrad football game was followed by a barbeque at the chapter house. While the alumni association is geared towards graduates of Drexel University, they welcome all Philadelphia area alumni to get involved. The Big Sky Alumni Association would like to thank all of those who returned for a great Homecoming weekend to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Gamma Kappa Chapter. The weekend’s highlights included an open house at the chapter on Friday, a pre-game tailgate on Saturday afternoon, and a banquet that evening. Highlights of the anniversary banquet included speeches by executive director of the Montana State Alumni Association, Janee Groseth; Gamma Kappa alumnus Jim Alderson ’61 and Gamma Pi (Oregon) alumnus Al McAlear ’49. The BSAA would like to thank outgoing president Clint Reynolds ’00 for all of his hard work as well as outgoing board members Scott Countryman ’91and Steve Dimarco ’86 for their commitment to the association. The Inland Empire Alumni Association is actively seeking members to support and assist the Lambda Alpha Chapter at UC-Riverside. There are currently twelve alumni brothers in the association, most who live outside of the chapter area, and solid alumni support is needed to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the chapter’s founding this year, as well as the 10th anniversary of the chapter’s installation in January 2010. The Las Vegas Area Alumni Association held its sixth annual golf tournament on December 13, 2008. The association recently held elections and the new officers are: president Matt Tyburski (California State-Sacramento, Theta Tau ’97); vice president Corey Teramana (Nevada-Las Vegas, Kappa Omicron ’00); treasurer Mike Kruzic (Missouri University of Science, Alpha Kappa ’97); secretary John O’Connor (Nevada-Las Vegas, Kappa Omicron ’97); and member-at-large Kevin Salsbury (Nevada-Las Vegas, Kappa Omicron ’02). The association is continuing its monthly alumni happy hour events the first Friday of each month. It will also host a Founders Day event in March 2009. The first annual business meeting of the National Capital Area Alumni Association was held on September 20, 2008, with 35 alumni in attendance. The group gathered at the Grand Peacock Café where former International President F. Anderson Morse (William and Mary, Gamma ’76) presented association president Tony Meyer (Utah, Alpha Tau ’99) with the official charter from the Memorial Headquarters, and congratulated the alumni on rechartering the association.
