Deadlines for the quarterly editions of Shield &
Diamond are as follows:
Spring - January 15
Summer - April 15
Autumn - July 15
Winter - October 15
Materials must be received at the Memorial Headquarters by
the above dates to be considered for publication. Items may be sent to:

MANUSCRIPTS - Query via e-mail, regular
mail or fax. Manuscripts are welcomed; they will be returned only if accompanied by a
self-addressed, stamped envelope. Materials become the property of the Shield &
Diamond. Submission of manuscripts to the Shield & Diamond is voluntary, and the
magazine does not pay for published items. Publication is at the sole discretion of the
Shield & Diamond staff. Items may be sent to the address listed above.
PHOTOGRAPHS - Pictures
may be submitted to the Shield & Diamond in a variety of formats: You may send
the original photo (include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you’d like it
returned), or you may send a digital image or scan of the photo. Photos must be scanned at
300 pixels-per-inch for printing purposes – please check the resolution on your
scanner. If using a digital camera, set it to the highest resolution, usually called
"tif" or "ultrafine". For more information, please e-mail the Shield & Diamond staff,

PIKES IN PRINT - Query
